Global Warming and Polar Bears..

Our climate is changing drastically and it's getting worst. Global warming happen when the greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane trap the heat and light from the sun, which increases the temperature. Greenhouse gases normally produced because of the air pollution, just like what I mentioned last blog. Global leading may lead to changes in rainfall patterns, a rise in sea level, and a wide range of impacts on plants, wildlife, and humans. For example, the CNN news,NASA reports that by the next 10 months, earth temperature will be increased by 4 degrees from now. The hot whether cause Himalayan glaciers melting in very rapid rate.

In fact, the animal that affect most significantly by global warming is polar bear. The warming climate is altering sea ice conditions results in lower survival rate of the species. As a result, the U.S. Geological Survey projects that two thirds of polar bears will be disappeared by 2050. The main concern about climate change effects on polar bears is habitat loss and changes to sea ice habitat.Changing sea ice conditions are affecting the bears’ hunting abilities. When they hungry for long period time, they will kill each other as food too. What on earth that this scenario happen? Another factor that caused polar bears decreasing is because polar bears that swimming in the water will be killed by other top level predators, such as killer whales (Orcinus orca), which are largely excluded from ice covered seas.

Personally, I'm pretty pity for the cute creatures, polar bears have to endure the consequences of global warming which cause by human act. So as a human being, I think we should do things to make a difference. I will be writing how to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases that we release into the atmosphere in the next blogs. So, stay tuned...Peace! ^^
